MVP fails sometimes on play

I have installed GPVR 1.4.7 with a Media MVP box since several years now and it working fine. I have upgraded my PC to Win 7 (64 bit).
Now I am facing the problem that I am not able to play some of the videos I recorded. When trying to play them MVP reboots.

I see the following message in the MVP-PVRX2 log:

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I think I solved it by changing the config to:

<MVPUseShortFilenamesOnNMT>true</MVPUseShortFilenamesOnNMT>
