It would be nice to see the following settings available within Live TV via a right-click:

Screen Aspect options: 16x9 or 4x3 selections
Preset window sizes: Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Full Screen
Keep Aspect Ratio option
Record options: Until Stopped, Unitl End of Current Show, 30, 60 & 90 ,minute options
Stop Recording

picture snapshot would be cool.

i think ffdshow can cover most of the screen aspect ratio stuff (im not sure if this works with live preview mode).

YES! It would be VERY nice to have some options "UncleJohnsBand" is talking about.

Also....how about Live TV remembers the last screen location and size so that every time you open it up you do not need resize/move it.

huh? why do you have to move it? are you refering to the popup "Active ..." (active something, i forget its name), which is only generated by one decoder (i forget which one).

I often times switch GBPVR to Live TV and resize the TV so that it is about the size of a 50 Cent piece, set it to force on top, and stick it in the corner of my monitor.

That way I can surf, work or whatever while watching TV.

Having to resize and reset every time I go to live TV is a pain.

There is no attempt to control the aspect ratio when running in window mode. GB-PVR only controls the aspect ratio for fullscreen mode.

I'm not personally interested in doing this for window mode. If you really need it, you can use something like the ffdshow decoder which is capable of doing this.

Can I add that I'd not be in favour of fairly major features (not sure if this idea in particular qualifies as such but you get the idea, I hope) being added that aren't accessible to those who use GBPVR purely as a media PC? My GBPVR box is like that: it lives under the TV in the living room and is used in a domestic setting controlled via the remote - and not just by me. So it has to be easy to use in that fashion - every time I have to wheel out the wireless keyboard, I wince...
