No audio for NPVR version 1.5.36

Hi,

I've set up NPVR version 1.5.36 on vista 64 bit.
I'm using Hauppauge HVR-3000 (14xxx) (WinTV 88x DVB-T tuner/demod)
I can get a clear picture but i don't have any audio on any channel.

I'm based in Auckland, New Zealand.
I've installed Monogram AAC decoder on my pc and tried all the decoders and audio renderer options.
Even on tv3 i've tried both audio channels and neither of them work.

I do have powerCinema installed which works fine, excepts it takes ages loading up.

when playing file right click and select stream
also you have selected monogram in decoder section of setting for he-aac audio

Is this only live TV or recordings also? How long do you leave it playing? I have noticed in recent versions that audio can take ages (at least 30 seconds after the video has started) to start with live TV. Recordings are always fine though.

This is with live TV and a recording. I've left it playing for a few minutes and still no sound.

I have selected monogram in the decoder section for he-aac audio and i have tried selecting the audio stream from the right click audio stream menu.

any other ideas?

whats the renderer set to

the video Renderer is set to EVR. I also have VMR9, VMR7 and Overlay as options.
The audio renderer is set to Default(Recommended).
I also have:
Speakers (High Definition Audio
Cyberlink Audio Renderer (PCM45)
Default direct sound device
Default waveout device
Digital output device (SPDIF)
Direct sound: digital output device (SPDIF) High..
Direct sound: Speakers (High definition audio device
available as options

Thanks for you help.

I've solved my problem.
I've changed the video Renderer from "EVR" to "VMR9" and i now have sound.

It also looks like the program crashes after 5 minutes or so when using live TV too.

strange wouldnt have thought that would fix your sound

upload your logs with a time it crashed
sub will probably have an answer why when you wake in the morning

also make sure you have put the patches in place
