How to delete a recording?

I need to delete a recording from the database. Should I just delete the record from RECORDING_SCHEDULE? I'm using version 1.4.7

Yes, though if you just delete the file, it should detect it's gone and remove the entry from the database automatically.

Now that raises another question. In PostProcessing I'm converting the video to mp4 and I'm deleting the original mpg (I'm keeping the new mp4 in the same directory where the mpg was). Would this be detected as a file remove and the record will be deleted automatically from the database? I don't want that to happen :-)

Before deleting it'll look for alternative names, with ".mpg", ".dvr-ms", ".ts", ".avi", ".mp4", "wmv", "mkv" extensions, and update the database if found (instead of deleting the old entry)
