I know I have done this before without a problem but now when I try to change the channel number for a channel it just produces a

Any thoughts on this problem, as it stands I can't change any of the channel number in settings so I'm stuck with them the way they are now, I also tried with a new clean database & I got the same result (my setup is analog capture card using a xmltv file). If this is a one off thing for just me I will do a complete wipe of NextPVR & a clean install to see if it fixes it.

perhaps wait a week or so for the next NPVR release. I think at this point even if it's an NPVR bug causing your problem, sub can't patch it.

That was actually the main point of my message in that if it was a NextPVR problem that it would be fixed in the new release or if it was a "me only" problem I can get it wiped & re-installed & hopefully without the error before the new release comes out Wink

I have found that it'll crash if I try to renumber one that is mapped to an XMLTV channel that no longer exists, or looks in the GUI that it's not actually mapped to a channel at all. Setting the EPG to none then lets me renumber it fine. (discovered this evening Smile )

I just spent some time trying to reproduce this, but worked ok for me. I tried with DVB EPG and XMLTV channels, in case this was going to make a difference.

OK I now have a bit more data on this problem......

When I just tried it now for TV1 it also worked for me, but on the second channel (SBS1) it crashed & then when I again tried TV1 again it also crashed. I noticed that TV1 was not showing the correct XMLTV file for it in the box so I went & looked at SBS1 & it now was showing the correct XMLTV file for it so I tried again & it worked this time, I then went back to TV1 & selected the correct XMLTV file first & then changed the channel number & it also worked fine.

I was able to reproduce it by removing the xmltv file that the channel was mapped to, and have fixed this. This does mean your EPG will be empty though.
