The "1.4.7 Available" thread has a dead link, and the Wiki is gone too. At least the link from the front page of the NPVR wiki is. http://www.gbpvr.com/pmwiki/
I'm in the process of setting up yet another PC with Vista and 1.5.whatever on it, but I need to get the recordings from GB to N. Has the GB wiki been moved?

I believe the GB-PVR wiki is offline only temporarily due to some unusual hacker/bot activity; logs apparently showed numerous attempts to hack the file system of the server via the wiki. It will return.

That aside, yeah, you're being weaned off GB-PVR. It's still supported here of course, but new users are discouraged from installing it.

I think sub has turned the GB-PVR announcement thread off and the setup program has been removed. Is that subtle enough reminder that new users and old users alike should be moving?

I want to move, but my move into new hardware wants me to fix those issues first. I will catch up to you guys.

Is the recording dump file updated after each recording ends, i.e., is it up to date, or should I run an export manually? I'm assuming the recordings have to exist in the same file path, correct? Finally, is there a way to export/import my recording schedule?
The announcement thread for 1.4.7 still exists, but yea, the setup file is no longer linked.
The last attempt at the new version resulted in frustration from a hurried setup on substandard hardware. I have to keep the WAF up, and missing some recordings wasn't going to do it. I think I'm better prepared this time.

the recording dump file updates each night, I think during or right after the EPG update. So, you should do a manual export from Config if you've had any new recordings since the EPG udpate that you want to import into NPVR.

do make sure you install the 1.5.36 Final patch archive before starting your setup.
