I am a new user for this app and I have problem that the volume osd does not work and no osd when switch between channels.

There is no volume OSD, unless you install the Volume plugin. Currently there is no volume inside npvr, you'll have to use the windows volume control. Try watching and switching channel, then zip and post your logs here.

You should install the DirectX runtime as mantioned in prereq. and in johnsonx42's sticky thread.
