N-PVR db3 EPG_EVENT time format question

In my npvr.db3 EPG_EVENT table, the start_time (and end_time) fields are stored exactly as...

Code:

yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss

...in other words there's no time-zone information (not a problem as I'm on GMT).

Is this the case for people in other time-zones however? i.e., these fields always represent absolute local time rather that UTC with TZ information?

It always stores these date/times as UTC.

I believe that the EPG_EVENT table always stores times in UTC. I just looked in mine, and that's what it looks like to me.

Also, thanks Brett, I guess I could have just asked you what things looked like from your end. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but then again, time stuff in Android is 'interesting' to say the least.
