Current Status Re:NPVR and MVP Functionality

I've been away from the GBPVR community for a long time. Can someone update me with regard to the current status of nPVR and MVP functionality? More specifically, can we schedule and playback analog recordings using the mediaMVP? I did some quick searches and thought I read analog mpeg? video playback would not likely be supported, but I also thought I seen some discussion about this actually working?:confused:

Due to the work of Sub and Martin (mvallevand) I would say that MVP support in NextPVR is pretty damn good! You really need to use Martin's mvpmc dongle to work with NextPVR's native .ts files. You should have full functionality (though I haven't tried it with 2.03, still testing with 1.5.36)

The MVP performs about the same as it did in 2005, with media from 2005. And NextPVR is still the best way to get old media to the MVP.
