Yeah, that door is a shimmery mess for me (on a laptop with the MS decoders). Haven't tried it on my actual HTPC though, that uses the Arcsoft decoder for HD.

Reddwarf so you see a solid blue door? I see lots of noise in it on every PC and extender I try.

It's a bit far but looks quite good for me. I'm using the Cyberlink H264 decoder.

It looks sparkley to me with everything I have tried to view it. Although I don't think I would have noticed until it was pointed out.
Do you know which episode it was to try to get a copy from elsewhere and see if is the same?
I see episode 5 of 5 is on this afternoon at 14:15 bbc1 SD and 17:15 bbchd
