Dear all,
looking at getting another Quad LNB for a spare dish I have. I don't yet have any DVB-S2 capable cards to experiment with my current Quad LNB (which was a good make and quite expensive a few years back, £20 ish).
Question for now is I see some pretty cheap LNB's on fleabay (around £6) described as HD Ready and then some others (much more pricey around £23.00) described as DVB-S2 compatible.
I get a very good strength Satellite signal from Astra2 & Eurobird where I am located.
Question
Any need to fork out for the more expensive option? Is this just a bells & whistles marketing ploy where a good old cheap and cheerful LNB will suffice or is a better quality LNB going to help me out?
cheers
