UK Freeview HD Audio

Hi

I have recently installed NPVR. I can receive all the available channels including the Freeview HD channels that have just been launched in our area. I get vision and audio fine for all the SD channels but can only get vision for the HD channels. I originally tried combinations of the decoders that I had available which were the standard Microsoft DTV-DVD and PowerDVD 10. When these did not work, I tried the K-Lite and SAF5 packs which I downloaded via Google after viewing the forums in these pages. Nothing has worked and I am now at a loss about what to try next.

My setup is

Gigabyte G41M-ES2L mb
E6750
4GB ram
Asus GT430 graphics
m-audio 192 sound card
Blackgold 3620 tuner

I have tried audio through both HDMI from the graphics card and through the sound card.

Can anybody give me any help? I have attached my Logs file in case it is any use.

There's some discussion about DVB-T2 audio problems here. You might find something relevant...

You just need a codec that can play it, I found the DIVX AAC audio codec to be the best.

What H.264 Video decoder do you use?

The divx codec pack works very well. Thanks very much!

I am using the standard DTV-DVD H.264 decoder at the moment as it seems to work better than the PowerDVD 10 - less jerky - but I will have a further play around with it. The Divx H.264 decoder doesn't work at all.

Now to get iMon working.....

What H.264 Video decoder do you use?

I use the default Microsoft DTV-DVD decoder but others like FFDShow also work well.

Getting good results with PDVD10 Video (SAF Unlocked) and the latest DivX AAC (had to put the Nanostick tuner on a powered USB Hub)
