Maybe - if its willing to accept these attempts to force the resolution rather than using one of the offical resolutions it explicitly states it supports. You'd have to try it to know for sure.

It does! But strangely enough in 29.970 fps, even the source material is PAL 25 fps.

Most drivers would know that a 720x480 is NTSC and use 29.97, and know that 720x576 is PAL and use 25. I'm not sure I can force the frame rate, but give this a try to see if it helps.

No luck with the latest patch, resolution went back to 320x240 and framerate is still 29.970. I can live with 29 fps as long as resolution is 720x576 as in the previous patch, but I don't have a copy of it anymore...

The latest patch did not work, it seemed to force resolution back to 320x240 and framerate was still 29.97, so I used the patch before. I can live with fps=29.97, it plays back fine.
