The Freeview HD EPG is compressed using Hoffman Tables to stop Piracy

I am using DVBGuide to download the complete epg from either the BBC1 or ITV1 mux - I forget which to a TVXML file. It translates the Tables no problem.
Alternative is the Radio Times grabber.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

DVBGuide seems happy to collect the EPG from our local Mux's, whether it is 522MHz which is BBC SD channels or if it is 474.2MHz which is all the HD channels. Either way NPVR could update the program guide, or does DVBGuide have a clever decoder?

DVBGuide has added support for the encrypted Freeview HD listings. NPVR only supports normal, non-encrypted DVB listings.
