Crashing while scanning Qam channels

I use a Kword ATSC 115 PCI card. Everytime I use device set-up and scans the channels it crashes. It get's through a partial scan and then crashes out and stops scanning.
It keeps saying something like JIT debugger. then crashes out/
And help or Idea on this.

If you create a c:\temp directory, then scan again, do you get a crash.mdmp? If so, zip and post it.

Unfortunately there isnt anything obvious in that dump.

Can you reproduce, then post the npvr.log and nrecord.log?

Does the crash always happen on at the same point in the scan? ie, a specific frequency it doesnt like

It does it everytime I try to scan. It crashes at channel 31 everytime. I will try to rescan now and see if I can copy what it says.

We might have to get you to try capturing a half minute or so full transport stream from channel 31, so I can try reproducing it here. I can give you instructions for doing this later.

It created a new crash file this time..Maybe this will help

Unfortunately nothing particularly obvious in that one either.

Are you scanning ATSC? If so, try getting it crashing on the first frequency by editing C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\ATSC\ATSC.ini to set "1=31,0,0".

When you're happy it's crashing on the first frequency, create a c:\temp directory, set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\RecordFullTS=1 (DWORD), then start the scan and hopefully you'll get a c:\temp\full-xxxx.ts file. Make this file available somewhere and I'll download it and try here.

Actually scanning QAM. Our cable service provider went completely digital. I did manage to catch and save 54 channels.. I stopped scanning at channel 30. Ans it did save
the channels. But it still won't do a complete scan.
