when changing channels in live tv the process is VERY slow about two minutes i will have to go to main menu and then click live tv agian as a work around then the channel comes up immediately

if i get this fixed then npvr is a next to flawless setup for me since everything else in the software seems to be working perfectly now

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the npvr.log and nrecord.log, and I'll take a look.

The logs will be there. On Vista/Win7 they'll be in "C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Logs". On XP they'll be in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR\Logs".

I'm not aware of any other firefox users reporting this problem. Either way, I wouldnt really have any control over this. I have very little control over the vbulletin software. It's typically pretty good with browser compatibility though.

I'll take a look at the logs.

Try setting you audio decoder back to Default to see if it helps with the channel change time.

It could also be related to your use of the Descaler decoder, which isnt widely used here, and may not work well.

thanks but this did not solve my problem switching off those settings will get rid of sound and video

now the fddshow codec for the video i do not know if i need to configure to one of hte other option

without changing a single setting and just selecting the one you mentioned most on here dont use it works supplying video with the default settings

again thanks for the great software

Try the LAV Filter as audio decoder.
