AutoRemoveMissingRecordings=false not keeping recordings in 2.1.4

I've moved recently to 2.1.4 and I noticed that AutoRemoveMissingRecordings set to false in Config.xml still removes recordings that are not physically present (on external drive which is powered off). This happens when going to the recordings menu. Is it possible to include a patch for this? it's cumbersome to have to re-import the recording list whenever the drive isn't accessible.

I just double check this here, and it's definitely working correctly for me.

This code hasnt changed in a long time. I use this feature all the time. I have it set to false in my development environment so I can load up other users databases and not have it automatically remove all the recordings from my database since the files arent present on my disk.

If you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs, I'll take a look.

not much in the logs, i removed 2 recordings which then disappeared from the Db when viewing the recordings in NPVR client. O:\temp\dvr\Movin On\Movin On_20110707_14001500.mp4 is one of them.

Do you also have <CheckForRenamedRecordings> set to false?

You may need to have that set to false aswell.

<AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>false</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>
<CheckForRenamedRecordings>false</CheckForRenamedRecordings>
