Hi
I tried to use CoreAAC and it's unavailable as option for HE-AAC in the decoder settings (It is selectable for plain AAC).

Is there some way to make it visible to NPVR?

It expects HE-AAC decoders to support at least one of the two following media types. This decoder you're wanting to use may only support AAC, not HE-AAC. If it does support HE-AAC, then it's probably using some proprietary media type.

Thank for the quick reply.

CoreCodec claims the following:
Technology Bulletpoints
Windows Directshow
32/64 bit Support
MPEG-2 AAC Low Complexity (LC)
MPEG-4 HE-AAC v1 (multichannel)
MPEG-4 HE-AAC v2 (stereo)

So my assumption was that it would work for HE.AAC.
Is it possible to find the supported media types of the CoreAAC decoder anywhere?

Sounds like it should, but only if they used one of the standard media types. If they use a proprietary one, then it wont hook up with other components.

You can use a utility like GraphStudio, to select a filter and view it's media type info.
