Sub,

I was wondering if you could help with a problem. I've done an All Frequencies scan and I can't get channel 34 (33.1) in okc. Scans with windows media center pick it up so I know it's not my hardware. I don't know what info you need but hopefully this helps http://www.fccinfo.com/CMDProEngine....Number=1124620

I installed the new cumulative patch and these are my logs after a scan

Thanks

same result on that channel as before:
Code:
2011-07-26 23:27:22.930    [DEBUG][1]    Switching BDA graph to tune:
<tuning>
  <type>ATSC</type>
  <locator>
    <physical_channel>33</physical_channel>
  </locator>
</tuning>

2011-07-26 23:27:22.930    [DEBUG][1]    Frequency has changed, so stopping recording from previous frequency. (Handle 31)
2011-07-26 23:27:23.421    [DEBUG][1]    Calling LockChannel()
2011-07-26 23:27:23.436    [DEBUG][1]    locked=1, present=1, strength=-10000, quality=100   (took 15ms to check)
2011-07-26 23:27:23.437    [INFO][1]    DigitalRecorder.StartStream() allocated handle: 0x20
2011-07-26 23:27:23.438    [INFO][1]    DigitalRecorder.StopStream() handle: 1F
2011-07-26 23:27:24.460    [INFO][1]    Metadata:
<sdt>
  <tsid>2353</tsid>
  <onid>0</onid>
</sdt>
It locks it cleanly and finds something there, but doesn't actually detect a channel.

sub, I've done my bit... over to you.

You'd probably need to follow the instructions in the couple of posts from http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post415438, but modified for 33 instead of 52.

(too tired to retype the instructions right now)

In case it's helpful (I know you're new to this software), I've modified the .ini file from the other thread for you. Use the attached file with these instructions:
sub Wrote:Place the attached tuning file in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\QAM, create a c:\temp directory, and create a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogTSFlow=1 (DWORD) registry setting, then try scanning the "33 Test" frequency set, then post the c:\temp\mon.txt file that gets created.

I hope I did this right, but it did create the file, so there's hope.

yes, you should; I wasn't paying attention to the fact that you're doing ATSC instead of QAM. If you did go ahead and put it in the ATSC directory, then everything should have worked; the content of the file is the same either way, and the name of the file doesn't matter.
