I applied all of the patches in the survival thread today, now I've lost Audio on LiveTV (possibly recordings, I haven't tried) with the HD-PVR.

I cant think of any reason for that. Reproduce the problem, and post the logs and I'll take a look.

Attached. The HD-PVRs seem to work okay with the included ArcSoft app.

Do you get audio with a new recording? Do you get audio with an old recording?

Old recordings are just fine. No audio with Live or a New Recording.

What video input are you using? composite/svideo/component
What audio input are you using? RCA or SPDIF?
After some testing... (remember, I have 2 HD-PVRs.)
*I REVERTED* the changed components to what is in 2.15, now... Both HD-PVRs work with the included ArcSoft app. HDPVR #2 has no audio. HDPVR #1 *HAS* audio. Reversing the priority has no effect. #2 is the 1st device in the priority, so I was always testing with it. It wasn't until I reversed the priority for Live TV that I discovered the other unit works.

Also, if I then go back and update to the R1 patches, I again lose Audio for the one device that was working. Both devices still work with ArcSoft.

Unmanaged.dll
1) I reinstalled 2.15, rebooted, no audio. I went back into the ArcSoft and toggled the AC3/AAC setting, returning it to AC3, rebooted, audio! Yay! 2) I started adding the updated components, one by one, from the R1 patch testing with Live TV after each. As soon as I tried Live TV with unmanaged.dll I lost Audio. 3) Reinstalled 2.15 again, same as #1. 4) Added everything in R1 *except* unmanaged.dll, works like a charm. Whatever is happening, it's knocking the audio out on the HD-PVR that I seem to have to retoggle the settings. That maybe is coincidence or a side effect of the audio loss. Possibly related to this fix for SPDIF with Colossus? http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post415377 I'm happy to test anything, as always. |
