"Record Season" Turns Into "Daily" and I can't change it?

If I set up a recurring program to "Record Season" and then later try to "Update" the recurring settings for that show, it appears to have switched to a daily recording (now displays "Daily, 8-9PM", for example). Additionally, if I try the right/left arrows it doesn't change?

it's a cosmetic bug. ignore it. it really will record the show in any timeslot, not just the one displayed.

it is true that you can't change the recording type after you create the recording.
