Has anyone that had SBS over here, lost it recently?

I'm getting not signal on it. Now it could be from the snow (when I'm testing it) but last good recording I've got is from 6/August.

Nope there still working fine for me, I know as I just finished viewing a couple I recorded tonight....

I actually have the opposite problem I have lost all the NZ channels from satellite for the last couple of days & I haven't found the time to scan the terrestrial channels yet to use them....

Hmm, wonder why. I may be still getting epg format though, but never any signal. It's like its locked In The wrong polarity. No there is no sky box here.

Mine was definitely locked on the wrong polarity as the EPGCollector logs showed when I finally got some time to have a look see, a computer re-boot seems to have fixed it for me though.

EDIT: hat was actually a power down & disconnect the power type re-boot if that makes any difference?

Hmm might have to give that a go. Wonder what cause it since moving to npvr, the only time sattellitr is used is when the wife records off the dvbs channels rather than dvbt.

Im not sure i ever got epgcollector pulling sbs off the satellite (let npvr do it). What settings did you use?

You have to set it to use the EIT data for SBS..... that's all I can remember off the top of my head but if you need more let me know & I will fire it up & have a look see Wink

For me I'm fairly sure it was a mains power blip that caused it to lock the polarity as I have had that before in the past ages ago..... nothing like the problem I had with pixilated recordings at one time that finally turned out to be the servers PSU on the way out, that one causes a huge amount of head scratching!!

Hmm just ran up epgcollector, and got a scan working (checking the eit as recommended). It found the channels, and the epg data.

I then started npvr and tried live tv and all seems to be going.

I guess I'll wait for next recording...

Not quite the same topic, but I see you are using EPG collector and I'm wondering if you have had any luck configuring it for the 3 DVBs-2 channels we can get in NZ. I can recieve the channels fine and can get epg data from the dvb stream but I just cant get it to collect with the collector

Only just quickly then. Looks like jaggy has it running. I mostly use it for DVB-T.

Are you meaning DVB-S2? If so I'm not sure about that at all.
