johnsonx42 Wrote:I like the new "...please wait..." pop-up when starting LiveTV. It's always nice to get immediate confirmation that something is happening if it's going to take any longer than 500ms or so. There are probably other places that could use a 'please wait', but it's an excellent start.
Its pretty always given this 'please wait' message when starting live tv from the main menu. It's a just minor change to extend that to the TV Guide.

At moment it's hard coded, but I'll think about making it skinnable in the future.

oh, yes, I actually got rid of LiveTV from the menu a long time ago; the only entry to LiveTV on my setup is through the TV Guide so if I'd ever seen the please wait message before I'd long ago forgotten about it.

Northpole, I find that shameful of you  (and massive respect Northpole too Big Grin )

Why does it take reddwarf

Reddwarf Wrote:Should be ctrl-x

to say that.

I am becoming increasingly bothered why a wiki was set up for NextPVR in the first place?

Does no-one read it?

The point of it is to point to things that may help users to find these things.

I am fed up with asking people to RTFM!

If simple questions like this need to be answered on the forum sub et al have to spend more time not doing some other stuff.

If the wiki is wrong, unhelpful, unclear help imporove it!

Is it that hard?
Using NextPVR

Keyboard Reference
Surely this is there already?

If it is not then we need help?

And Northpole, not aimed at you, just a general rant why no-one even bothers looking at the wiki? May be it is not needed?

cheers

Since I only recently switched to NPVR, I hope I'm not stuck in old GBPVR thinking here. It seems with the new release that the F7 function is broken or is there a setting that got reset on me?

Also, is the timeline supposed to be clickable as it was in GBPVR?

I just tried it here and seemed to be working for me. What happened when you tried?

Yes, though some 3rd party skins haven't been updated to support a clickable timeline yet, so you may need to try it with the default skin if you're using something else.

Hi StanO,

fortune always favours the bold Big Grin

I am so pleased that you posted after my angry post and got rid of it that way!

I am going to be very very quiet now and not post again Big Grin

thanks sub for covering that one up as I was writing a reply!

cheers
