Channel scanned but not in list of channels

I have a channel that won't show up in the list of scanned ATSC channels. I can see from the log file that it scanned and was found but it is not in the list of channels so I can't map it to the EPG. I have attached npvr.log that says the channel was found and a screen shot of the scanned channels with the channel missing. The channel in question is KUCW-DT 30.1 & 30.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated

delete all the channels from that capture source and scan again.

ok; if that doesn't do it I'll have to punt this one to sub. clearly your log shows it identifying the channel, but there are cases where it won't put the channel in the list if it thinks it's already there (hence the idea of deleting all the channels first). I notice it does find another KUCW-DT on a different frequency, but I don't see why that should cause an issue... mine finds 4 of the same call sign without issue (all on the same frequency though).

Ok, I tried deleteing all the channels and rescanning with no luck. I have two tunner cards an avermedia M780 and a Hauppauge 2250 I tried with both cards just to see if it made a difference and it didn't work on either of them.

ok, try making a custom atsc tuning file like this:

1=USA ATSC CH 48 Test

1=48,0,0

call it something like atsc48.ini and put it in your c:\users\public\npvr\tuning\atsc directory

now scan with that tuning file selected so that it just does the one channel. if it doesn't work with either tuner, post logs of the scans again and we'll wave the flag for sub's attention.

Ok making the test file worked and I was able to add the channel and map it WOOT!! Any ideas why it doesn't work with the regular ini file?

I'm thinking it does have to do with the other KUCW-DT it found earlier in the scan. Finding the same call sign on a different physical channel must break some logic.

To be honest, I'm not sure. If I had a bit more time I could produce a patch to collect more logging, but I'm a bit busy with day job stuff right now.

Well doing the test file worked and I have the channel now so thanks for the help.
