OK...installed the card and drivers all ok..
NPVR woked fine but when scanning for channels it has missed some HD channels. I only get ITV1HD. I know some have switched over using S2 so hence why i am using this card.
The card seems to be detected as a s card in NPVR so i was wondering if there is a way to force the use of the S2 with NPVR?

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Its possible the satellite definition is not correct. Check that it's actually scanning the frequency the channels are on. ie, find out what frequency ITV1HD is on, and check that you see it scanning that frequency during the scan.

This is normal. All DVB-S or DVB-S/S2 cards are listed as 'DVB-S' in the application.

This is an abbreviated ini file that I used when testing HD and DVB-S2. I named it something like astra282hdonly.ini and selected it in settings.

Code:
[SATTYPE]
1=0282
2=Astra 28.2 HD

[DVB]
0=6
1=10847,V,23000,89,69
2=12606,V,27500,34,69
3=10832,H,22000,56
4=10936,V,22000,56
5=11224,V,27500,23
6=11798,H,29500,34,69
