I'd need more detailed logs to know what is happening.
You'll need to create a c:\temp directory, and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogNetPush=1 in the registry, then reproduce the problem and post the normal logs and c:\temp\netpush.txt.
The DCR drivers and firmware are still a work in progress. I am not sure which drivers you are on, but the latest beta ones give me much worse performance than the previous one. I rolled back the drivers for the tuning adapter and the dcr, but you can't roll back the firmware. At least with WMC, I still get some random "no tuner available" times. Since this is a network tuner in npvr, a no tuner event might just act like a zero byte file.
Honestly, the dcr is close, but I don't think it is quite ready for primetime.

Soccerdad I'm inclined to agree with you, each missed recording seems to have a different error message. I'm using the firmware and drivers that came with my unit the cd says version 1.3 and the drivers on the website were 1.2 something when I installed last week.

You've done it wrong. You've created a setting called "LogNetPush=1" with a value of "0". You should have created a setting called "LogNetPush" with a value of "1".
