Tuner 1 No Channels: Tuner 2 Not Detected

I have two hauppage cards installed. I have one that is being recognized but will not find any channels and the second card which is installed, found in the filter, but not being displayed as an option.

Thoughts on how to fix these issues?

Actually I've spent the last 2 days trying to figure out what's going wrong. I find it amusing that you reference the wiki but didn't even take the time to provide a link to what you are referencing. Instead you just make a snarky remark.......... not very helpful.

This post comes so often, it seems daily recently so excuse my frustration. Given that McBainUK, steeb and others have spend a lot of their time making it easy for you to find the info I don't know why I have too.

Granted once you do find it, it still can be troublesome and that is where everyone is glad to help.

If you mean softpvr I've already installed wintv7 and it's still not working

I wasn't meaning that message, I was meaning searching how to configure analog and digital devices. I reacted too early and you might be looking for QAM not analog does WinTV find channels?

Your first step really is to get WinTV finding channels. Start with removing any splitters you have and putting cable directly into the the back. I have channels that will not work if I have two splits. Of course make sure you have cable into the right connector, the lower one is QAM/ATSC

Also for clear QAM enter your zip code here http://www.silicondust.com/support/channels/ to see what is available from your provider. For the HVR 1600 some older models don't support clear QAM so you would need to check the Hauppauge site for some model numbers.
