I noticed the drive that I have livetv buffering on filling up. I checked that directory and sure enough there were over 100gigs worth of leftover .ts files. I believed this started happening after applying several patches although I'm not 100% confident on that. I tested this on the latest set of patches including the skip patch(and yes I registered the new file). I also noticed the initial buffer file does get removed, it's the subsequent files that are leftover.

I'm a bit busy today, but I've noted it down to double check in the next couple of days.

Is anyone else also getting this?

I've been quiet lately since the NMT LiveTV files are cleaning up much better now, the web log still leaves the last one because it is still open

Code:
2012-03-12 00:33:10.278    [DEBUG][4]    About to delete temp file: C:\temp\live-CJOH-DT-6465-3.ts
2012-03-12 00:33:10.278    [DEBUG][4]    About to delete temp file: C:\temp\live-CJOH-DT-6465-2.ts
2012-03-12 00:33:10.278    [DEBUG][4]    About to delete temp file: C:\temp\live-CJOH-DT-6465.ts

but it is caught in NextPVR

2012-03-12 00:33:10.392    [DEBUG][7]    Doing rolling File cleanup
2012-03-12 00:33:10.435    [DEBUG][7]    RollingFile.Close()
2012-03-12 00:33:10.435    [DEBUG][7]    About to delete temp file: C:\temp\live-CJOH-DT-6465.ts

Hi,

I've also noticed this. Lots of 15 minute long recordings in the LiveTV buffer directory.

sub, if you might find a moment to fix this I think it'd be a reasonable point to finish off the long anticipated R2 "final".

My livetv buffer has always filled up as far as I know. I noticed it when I initially installed npvr maybe a year ago. I just use a batch file to clear it prior to npvr starting.

So they are - I aways think that we don't watch much live TV, but we have accumulated quite a collection of Live TV files over a couple of weeks. They started to appear from the time that I installed the original (28th Feb) skip patch that first introduced NPVRTSReader2.

Had live HDTV on for a good few hours today - testing Hoborgs p-v12 SAF6Test - works good. Found I had 9GB of buffer files on a 10.5GB Partition - only emptied it last night.
What would a full partition do?
I think it is since the new tsreader2 was installed. - any chance of a fix Sub
Thanks
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh
