No Live TV stream anymore

I recently changed the Port the main NEWA service from 80 to 81.
I can browse to this quite happliy from internal and now the internet.

However I can't now use watch live from my nDroid player, ether internally or on the internet.
I can still schedule recordings etc, and still view recordings.

Any ideas?

Ah, OK. Subtle flaw in the way things work - the NDroid client caches the npvr web server details so it's still trying to use port 80.

Restart the nDroid Service on your PC then use the Settings in the nDroid app to Reset (clear) all of the data. This will put nDroid back to a 'first run' situation and it will download all of the files from the nDroid Service including the npvr settings.

Sorry, bit of a faff I know but I'll fix this for the next nDroid release.

Cool Ta, thats fixed now, my handset was messing arround.

PS am now trying to live stream over the internet (3G) but the connection does not even appear to hit my firewall? Any ideas?

I should not I can set and cancel programs to record over 3G all fine

There is a restriction by the npvr web server that prevents Live TV streaming over the internet - I believe sub will be changing that for the next npvr release. I'll check the code but I think it will only attempt Live TV streaming if there's a wi-fi connection based on that restriction. It should provide a popup in that case...another subtle flaw in the code, sorry.
