Where are you getting those graph screenshots? The ones you've posted dont show the AC3 hooked up to a decoder, which will of course mean no AC3 audio.

I run GraphStudioNext while NPVR is playing the HD video, and I use the 'connect to remote graph' command.

Something else seems wrong, in that it is finding an m2a stream which is unusual in a North American stream.

No change required. Could you post a 50 MB chunk from one of these files on Dropbox I'm curious about that. I've had lockups on audio stream change and on subtitle stream changes because of the video decoder, if you are on Win7 try the default Martin

I recorded a short HD program for you to try, and the audio works now! Recordings from yesterday still have no audio. Does this mean that the settings I've changed affect the recording process?

Does this mean that the settings I've changed affect the recording process? When it comes to digital recordings, you always get a dump of whatever was broadcast, and no settings should affect the contents of those recordings. The settings should only effect playback. ie, if todays recordings work, then yesterdays should aswell, unless there is something about those broadcasts that the app doesn't like. On the wiki there is a "cutchunk" utility which can be used to cut a small recording from one of your earlier recordings.

I tried several other shows, and they all have audio. The one thing all the shows with no audio have in common is that they are all prime time. So far, none of my recordings of the Olympics have audio. Here's a chunk:

Sorry about that. I forgot about dropbox sync time. My uplink isn't fast - 21 minutes left. I'll post a note when it is ready.
