Anyone working on a plugin that will allow for transfering tv shows between other GB-PVR users over the net.

We bounced a couple of ideas back and forth. The idea is we need to find something like waste. Small encrypted private networks of users that can exchange shows.

And test it out, then modify the source to have it able to be controlled from a socket.

have you started testing it yet, waste i mean? if you need someone to test it out with, ill do it. can waste be controlled from .net? i assume you dont want to include waste into the plugin, but rather have the user download and install waste and set it up, then just communicate with waste via the plugin.

I have not started testing it yet. I am going to be very busy next week but the week after maybe we will test it out. It can not be controlled with .net however the source is available. You can search on source forge for waste if you want to take a look at it.

The plugin might actually come with the modified waste client that allows us to control it. Since the original does not have the hooks we will need.
