DVD button missing

My DVD button in the menu are missing. I have tried to remove it in the config app. and add it again. It does not appear ..?

Sould I install PowerDVD or am I missing the point here ...?

It wont show up for the PVR350 or MVP, which cant play DVDs.

Do any of the Hauppauge PVR cards support DVD playback?. What is the reason for the 350pvr not supporting it? What other cards would support this?

See this thread. You can use the video archive plug-in to convert DVDs to MPEG format.

The PVR350 is the only Hauppauge card with a TV out, so your question is not apply to any other Hauppauge card.

DVD playback is just not a feature built into this hardware. You'd have to ask Hauppauge and Conexant why not.
