Using the network recorder over a remote line I get picture for some seconds but then NextPVR throws an exception while trying to update the timeline. See attached exception text, screenshot and logs.

Network Recorder seems to be doing what it is supposed to in delivering the stream. I did note that you use the LAN default

NetworkRecorder Delay is 4000

and you might want to increased that to 10000 or even 20000 to allow for the initial latency delivering data to NextPVR.

Maybe so, recording and playing back an in-progress recording works just fine.

One thing I noticed while the picture was visible was that the timeline had huge negative numbers as start/end times.

Could you upload new logs with a 15 second delay?

I don't see how that should make a difference, but I'll make one for you sometime this weekend.
