Hello,

I am trying to follow the installation procedure and am having some issues

Microsoft .NET Runtime v2.0: They have sp2 only; when installing am getting "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 This product is not supported on Vista Operating System"
Windows Installer v3.1 or later: am getting "Not enough storage is available to process this command."
DirectX 9.0c runtimes: There is no 9.0c but 9.29.1974
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Runtimes: should i use sp1 or no sp1?
Windows Media Player v9: i have version 11, do i need to downgrade to a version 9? if so, where can i find one?

Thanks in advance for your help

The .net runtime link is dead -- I can't find a link that works. You probably already have this installed.
You probaly also have the Installer.
Install DirectX 9.29.1974.
Install C++ SP1 (though you probably already have it).
Media Player V11 is fine (it should say v9 or above).

Good Luck.

These USB sticks are very cheap from China, http://www.dealextreme.com or http://www.everbuying.com

Funny, I was on my way here to report the Runtime 2.0 link myself. I'm building (rebuilding) a client freshly to see if that fixes some of my problems and couldn't remember if Windows 7 needed that (and does it? Anyone?)

I can't remember seeing any other USB sticks than DVB-T, I'v been looking for a cheap DVB-C stick myself. However there used to be some inexpensive dvb-s cards (and maybe an usb box) at dealextreme.

Vista and Win7 have .Net 2.0 I think you generally need to install 3.5 to get 2.0 these days, but I think this one for 2.0 still works http://download.microsoft.com/download/5...tnetfx.exe
