Xbmc getting stuck reading Epg data from clients...

So I had this working the other day but today it gets stuck with the name of the first channel in the channel list.. I uninstalled Xbmc and all of the data but it made no difference... Any ideas? I didn't change the firewall or anything and Npvr works fine...

This happens to me almost daily but it clears itself the next time I start up.

Hmm. Not sure sure it will happen for me -- I restarted the entire computer at least twice and restarted XBMC perhaps 6 or more times without change.. Perhaps if I leave it alone for a few hours..it might clear itself.. I didn't give it a chance -- perhaps 5 minutes.

This happened to me this morning. I went into the NPVR settings -> Channels, emptied the guide and then updated the guide. Its working fine now.

Doh! I hate doing that.. It took me quite some time to narrow down my 150 channels to 33.. Perhaps I can make a screenshot of that before I nuke it -- that would save me major time! (hence my wishlist of a similar theme yesterday).. I will try it this evening -- I figured it was something on the XBMC side.. Perhaps it was related to my crash yesterday morning -- something might have gotten corrupted a bit..

Emptying and updating the guide will not change the channel lineup.

ooh.. I see.. Not deleting all of the channels from Settings->Channels but hitting the button on the bottom to clear the EPG data and do a manual refresh..
