I have the DBC-Stick sundtek MediaTVPro.
The stick is installed properly but not recognized by npvr. Is this card not supported? Is there a way to get the stick working with npvr?

The drivers for the card are BDA driver 64bit, the system I am using is server 2012.

any help is welcome...

View the Settings->Devices screen, then post the npvr.log and I'll take a look.

Settings devices sreen shows no devices.
Unfortunately there is no such log file. I searched the whole computer for it. Do I have to enable loging first?

Yes, I know, but it will cause it to log the info I'd need.

It always creats the logs.
On Vista/Win7/Win8 it'll be in "C:\Users\Public\NPVR\logs".
On XP it'll be in "C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\npvr\logs"

It looks like it listed a device called something like "BDA 2828x TVTuner". Is that not there?

I made a screenshot of the driver details, there is no such Tuner installed... I don´t know where this information comes from...

It may be that the Sundtek MediaTV Pro uses a chipset that uses a generic driver that is identified as BDA 2828x TVTuner.

Does a device called BDA 2828x TVTuner appear in NextPVR --> Settings --> Devices ?

No there is no device in settings/devices as if there would be no dvbc card present...
It seems that my dvbc card is not supported by npvr

It is seeing the device, but it's drivers aren't exposing the "IBDA_Topology" interface, which is used to determine what type of tuner it is. Unfortunately without this info it wont work with NextPVR.

This is the first device I've come across that doesn't have this. Are you sure the drivers are installed correctly? Does it work with other software - other than the software from the manufacturer?
