I'm not sure if this is a 1.2.9 issue or not, but I just updated X-NEWA on my openelec 2.0 box, and all shows in the guide are showing as being on one hour later than they should (i.e. shows on now are shown as being on in an hour), and I'm unable to play live TV.

The time is correct on the system, and on the server, and everything looks as it should in the server's epg, on PC clients, and in the NEWA epg. I've emptied and updated the epg on the server, and restarted the recording service, and totally uninstalled and reinstalled X-NEWA.

Any ideas?

Is the timezone set correctly on your client?

Yes, definitely, and it handled the change from BST to GMT at the weekend fine, and is showing the right time.

Is there any data that would be left over after uninstalling from Settings/Addons that might be causing an issue?

I have the same EPG issue after DST change this weekend. Backend newa and pvr-plugin is correct.

My python skills (or lack thereof) probably bit me, I was using the time.daylight function to test if dst was in effect. I have replaced these with time.localtime().tm_isdst and updated the file on the wiki, let me know if that helps.

I re-downloaded from the 'x-newa public beta' thread, uninstalled and reinstalled.

Still getting the same behaviour.

I have done another update, could you grab 1.2.10 and see if it fixes things. I converted my VM to UK time and connected a linux client and there were a couple of things I had to change to get the dst turned off. Our time changes next weekend.

I was able to test this briefly this morning. The EPG seems to be correct now, but I was unable to play live TV. Will try again later.

A quick look through the code indicates the EPG is all localtime so it might not be DST related. Are you trying Timeshifted or Native? If neither work, best bet is to upload the xbmc.log and web.log from the server. If Native works but Timeshifted doesn't re-read the post on Timeshifting, http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post445062 there are several prerequisites.

Hi,

I've not tried to use Timeshifted mode, only native. Recordings play fine, but for live TV I just get 'working' for a few seconds, and then nothing happens.

Live TV worked fine for me in previous versions, but as well as updating X-NEWA, I've installed the patches from the NPVR getting started sticky, and the NEWA update, and the patch from the 'Getting started with the NextPVR XBMC addon' thread.

Edit: I just uninstalled 1.2.10, and installed 1.2.4, as it was still lurking in my downloads folder, and while this made the EPG wrong again, I was able to play live TV.
