Sorry, another question from me: i have just changed the FF/RW to do fast play. just wondered if the spead of the fast play was configurable?

Not currently, but I can try to make it configurable in the next release.

What would be really cool would be an increasing speed with each press of the button (like a lot of DVD players do). But a config setting would be fine. Thanks Sub

That would be a nice feature. Would fast(er) forward work better with recordings that tend to lose position when skipping ??

Probably not, given the faked fast forward that NextPVR provides is just made up of many quickly-repeated short skips.
