NEWA Recording and Cancel Recording buttons missing now -- help

After changing NPVR 2.5.9 Media folder locations to another drive, NPVR crashed hard and recordings failed. Not sure why this happened since my Recording directory never changed....just media folders.

After restarting NPVR, everything is behaving strangely with NEWA. NEWA works, but no options exist for recording any episodes -- or canceling recordings that already exist.

In the process of constantly restarting recording service, rebooting XP to no avail....I updated the NPVR patch level to the latest R2 patches for this release. That didn't help. Then I updated the latest NEWA build 1.31 to see if that helped. Nothing changed.....no option to record or cancel recording any longer.

Logs attached. Any help appreciated.

OK...all of a sudden....the buttons appear in NEWA......maybe something got unwedged after so many restarts.. I will wait to see if my scheduled recordings go today...... If not I will update this thread for continued help. Thanks for any and all attention and sorry for any false alarms.

When you do see options such as Record and the Config tab that is a clear sign that your security cookie on the client accessing NEWA is not getting set, has been blocked by some sort of system software on your client machine or has timed out.

Interesting. I've been wondering why sometimes the Record button is missing, and also the Config tab. I normally use Chrome, so I just fire up IE and everything works.

I use all of them (Chrome, IE, FF) and don't tipically have any problems.....
