Instead of saying only record shows I have not already recorded say something like "Record new shows only" this would then base off the AirDate from Zap (or where ever) and if the scheduled recording date is equal to the AirDate then it is a new program and record the sucker! =) otherwise skip this recording.

I want this feature too.

I plan to incorporate zap info in Guide2J then look at ways on how to incorporate this into CDK.

I'll keep everyone posted.

The reason why we started off with support for things you have already seen rather then new episodes was it was more generic. The zap data should help as we get further along and can make it have more functionality for zap users.

It would also be nice to have the genere color in guide2j something that jrock has already mentioned. And maybe a repeat indicator.

Jorm has it dead on... my next priority is further enhanceing guid2j. I do not know of any bugs right now
1. Making it more skinnable (if needed)
2. Watch (need subs help)
3. Have a better indicator if to show that the entire program is not rendered to screen.
4. Integrate with zap
a. Color codes per genre
b. New epidsodes
c. Being able to bring up cast information
d. Other???
5. Find more (need Jorms help)

Then I am going to go back to CDK. Although I have a release waiting once Jorm and I figure out the new screens in XRecord.

Do you know what we need. We need something like Bugzilla so we can keep track of features, requests and bugs.

I keep writing ideas down on paper and lose them. I know that I tell people I am going to fix something and then forget all about it till someone reminds me.

What do you think?

For example

Excellent Idea! I setup bugzilla for a client site when I was a consultant. We replaced an Excel based bugtracking system with Bugzilla, and it was MUCH easier to deal with.

Extremmelly helpful in keeping track of bugs, and ideally designed for programmers. Project mangers don't like it as well, but for a programmer it has everything you typically need.

Maybe we can get Sub to host a Bugzilla database along with a link from the Wiki linking to the Bug reports for a particular plugin/utility.

Another Wiki related option is PITS.

What I personally consider as a must, is a 24h time display. Would that be possible?
