Missing one channel in NPVR using HDHomeRun Dual

Hi,

In the HDHomeRun app and WMC I have 13 channels. Now in NPVR, only one channel is missing.

I cannot find any option to add a missing channels like I have in WMC.

The channel is 40.3 (CHOT-TV) and I live in Canada-Ottawa.

Can you do a scan, then zip and attach the npvr.log?

I tried here as a test and it doesn't scan correctly here either. It seems like the channel name is not returning CHOT-DT (like it used too) instead it ihas a duplicate name CH1 HD that is also on channel 34 and 40 isn't added to the list.

Included at the end of the log is the playback of the already channel as it was stored in the db

You could try bumping up the <ScanCollectionMS> setting in config.xml. If that doesn't help, some one will probably need to capture a sample transport stream from this frequency to see what the app doesn't like about the name.

It has no problem with the name, I create a tuning ini with just the bad channel and it scans. I think the that two channes with the same name is the problem.

As you can see, on my side it finds it but it never appears in the channel dialog box..

As for the name, none of my channels seem to have a name. They all appears as Unknown <freq_no>.

So therefore, no TV guide..

microcontroleur, if you want I can add TVA to your database if you want to upload it. With the HDHR I think I have read that you need to do something with a web app to inject the names but you should still be able to map them as unknown
