trying to fake npvr database for unit tests

Hi,

I'm trying to fake the npvr.db3 for unit tests. I've inserted fake epg data, a fake digital recorder, channels, channel mapping, capture source.

when i try to schedule a recording (thats what im unit testing) it fails. when I open nextpvr gui and try to do a recording nextpvr says "No tuner is available to record the requested...."

What am I missing? The machine I'm trying to run these unit tests on is a blank build VM which has nextpvr installed, but no capture sources or anything (just a hyper-v image).

I can't help with you question but it sure sounds like you are missing a link in your oid somewhere. If you want you could add a dummy device using the NetworkRecorder tuner plugin which you can even connect to your prod. system for testing if you'd like.

For the scheduling to work, you might need to check CAPTURE_SOURCE has both 'present' and 'enabled' set to 'Y'. If it's not that, then I'd be checking your CHANNEL_MAPPING entries to make sure the channels are mapped to your capture sources.

stupid me, i opened the db in sqlitebrowser and saw the present and enabled as 'Y' but I just assumed they were booleans and just rendered this way so I set them to 1.

All is working now
