Okay, after getting bent-over twice in one week by Comcast with frequency shuffles, I think I have all my stations back in order.
However as you might expect, my recurring recordings are all messed up.
I did an export, then deleted all recurring and pending recordings in NPVR, then did an import.
This fixed some but not all the recurring recordings. Several were still identified as being on the old channel number (NPVR channel number), some on the new. Maybe this is because some of the channels still exist, they just belong to a different station now. I looked at the recurring-backup.xml file but could not identify the differences between the ones that got corrected and the ones that did not.
For example, Law & Order: SVU (KARE-HD) shows up in recurring-backup.xml as ChannelOID 7188 and imports to the new (correct) channel number 361. But Grimm (KARE-HD), also showing ChannelOID 7188 in recurring-backup.xml, imports at the old channel number, 353. I have several examples of this in my setup.
I pasted this example below if it helps.
