I just downloaded 2.6.2 and using it with HDHomerun on Windows 8. Video works fine and audio is OK for about 15 seconds; then, audio quits. I close nPVR and reopen; then experience the same occurrence.

probably need to try a different audio decoder. which are you using?
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct

I've tried Cyberlink and MainConcepts. Following settings are the only ones that produce any audio:

Hi merkleg, U.S. digital channels almost always use AC3 Audio. My hunch is that your MainConcept Dolby Digital Audio Decoder is a trial version hobbled to work for only x-seconds, perhaps part of some codec pack that you downloaded. You could probably purchase the full version, but if I were you I would try installing AC3Filter (http://www.ac3filter.net/), which is a free download that I'm using. Does your PC have Cyberlink software installed, or was your Cyberlink Video Decoder part of the same codec pack as the MainConcept audio decoder?

what Zeb said about using AC3filter.... Also disable the AAC decoders; best to have unused audio types disabled.
