Adding a missing Cable Card channel..

Ok, here's a strange duck, but I can't figure out how to do this, so I figured I'd ask.

I have my NextPVR setup with a Silicon Dust HDHR Prime. Things are fine. With one exception; I have one station (just one!) that is in my silicon dust guide, that I can view inside the Silicon Dust application that doesn't transfer to being viewable inside of NextPVR.

I recognize some channels won't be available because of flags, but this channel isn't flagged (normally, outside of sporting events which do sometimes run on it which do get flagged). Unfortunately, I apparently caught this channel in the middle of an MLS game when I scanned, thus the flag. (that's my theory at the moment)

But I'm trying to think if there is a way to manually add that channel in after the fact.

Any help appreciated.

Hi tmservo. There's no manual method to add the channel, but you can simply scan again at an opportune time for that channel. This should not affect channels that are already listed and mapped.

Bingo. It shows up in the SiliconDust.. I'd figure even if it wasn't 'in the clear' it'd show in the list, but it doesn't. I tried rescan, but it's no point, it doesn't really scan, it seems to just automatically get it without any scanning of any sort.

Is the channel listed when you view http://<ipaddress>/lineup.xml?show=unprotected in a browser?

I too am having this issue on an HD Prime after Charter changed my channel's around.

I may have fixed it... waited until a new show was on and then did a rescan. Shows up now, just waiting for the EPG to update and get my guide data.

Sorry for jumping the gun, but maybe my posts will help someone else out.
