Any chance if http://<ip>:8866/services?method=recording.list&filter=Ready could return a thumbnail if there's a folder.jpg for the show?

Or should I be using the newa web services? And does this provide that information?

The other thing I'm kinda interested in if I can, is getting the channel icons.

Cool. If I run plex on the pc, then live tv works fine....but any device that needs a transcode it doesn't get an updated duration and so stops - and it's above my skill level.

But I'll try and pretty up how it looks with the channel icons.

NEWA does return art for EPG and shows. Until UJB did this I simply created a symbolic link from web/public/Media to Media/Shows since that is where I keep all my media. That why I get art even after shows get deleted.

I've copied my main DB to another machine, and so the G:\Recordings path is invalid - and the list from this web service is empty.

EDIT: I've confirmed this is the case and managed to get around it.

Next time ask for the xml code and change you .py file to point to the file. You can probably do this on the fly. Once I got used to it I found python coding really easy to debug, indenting aside.

The xml code? Is this a dump from the web service?

I said code but I meant user's file. Just change your open to

tree = ET.parse('c:/temp/example.xml')
