Default Audio Track

This is something that's never been a problem with the UK sat channels before, but after some transponder rejiggin' there's now a couple of channels that don't have the correct audio by default.

If you alt+g toggle you can find the right audio though - is there any way that information can be specified in the tuning details or in the DB, or better yet, could NPVR remember the last selected track on a per-channel basis?

If you visit http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-28.2E.php and search for VIVA you'll find it. The audio should be the one marked "2350 eng". Confusingly, the other tracks are all English too; but they must be for other channels.

I could probably provide a short dump of the channels in question if it would help.

Can you provide a short recording from one of these channels? 30 - 60 seconds would be great.

When you play that 16%20And%20Pregnant_20131014_20002100.ts clip, what audio does it give you?

I tried playing the file and it looks like it's giving me the correct audio stream - the fourth one with music and the actors themselves voices. (not the mother and commentator)

It's some woman talking about hurting Janell or something. The first three tracks sound the same, then 4 has the right audio.

I did switch from ac3filter to lav recently...hmm...

That's odd. I'm not seeing that here. You should be getting the same thing track as me.

You could try setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogReaderAutomap=1 (DWORD), then reproduce the problem and post the c:\temp\reader-automap.log.

Not intelligent enough. A proper AI would simply refuse to tune it in at all.

Here's the log file. This came from my laptop rather than the media PC, but they both play the wrong audio.

I've also tried with ac3filter and all plugins disabled too, just in case. Nothing helped unfortunately.
