Recording indicator on main menu

It would be nice to have a recording indicator that shows on the same screen as the main menu. Or perhaps it should show right under the date and time.
Perhaps show what is being recorded or just a small indicator per tuner that is being used.

The TV Listings plugin provides this function. You don't even have to use it, just have it installed and enable the Recordings Panel.
