Renew lease failed

I am getting tons of errors in my NRecord.log file. Renew lease failed.

Is this something to worry about? They are occuring about every second.

You'd need to post the logs so we knew what was going on and why the lease renewal failed.

Yes, you probably have a growing XBMC live tv file and will need to stop the recording service to clear it. johnsox42 explained what logs you need to post if you expect sub to look into it.

Which logs? That is all that is in the NRecord.log just over and over again. The NPVR.log does not show anythin unusual. I can see where I was trying the skop with minutes option thing last night but that was about it.

Don't be selective http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post466173 Likely it starts in one of the web logs which might have already rolled over but the xbmc logs could provide a clue.

Is that the web log? Or should I post xmbc logs too (I will have to find them)? The web.log had pretty much the exact same thing that the NRecord.log says.

BTW when I tried uploading the log.zip I got

Lots of junk but if your are using OTA EPG updates you might be suffering from this problem http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...s-on-3-1-1

You should definitely consider Schedule Direct or mc2xml to avoid this. My SD EPG updates are flawless.

I am using mc2xml but I have not yet finished mapping all of my channels annd some of them are set to OTA EPG. I will finish mapping and see if the issue goes away.

Why does not OTA EPG work? Is it that the stations are not broadcasting this information? I did notice that my TV has similar EPG info but it does not work. A second tv also has a clock that is supposed to be set OTA but never works.
