Previously, I used it on Windows 7 32-bit with various earlier versions of NPVR. So, it does work with NPVR. I am using Verizon, if that matters.
This isn't ready for prime time, but when you feel in a mood to experiment you could try:

- Backup your npvr.db3 so you can restore it after the test
- Edit config.xml to include <EnableDRISupport>true</EnableDRISupport> in the <General> section of config.xml
- drop the attached dll in with your NextPVR binaries.
- start the app, check if you see your device on the Settings->Devices screen, try scanning for channels, and maybe watching tv.

- after the test, you'll want set <EnableDRISupport> to false, and to restore your npvr.db3 backup, to put things back to how they were.

I didn't see any new devices in my devices screen. I'm not sure I have every one of the latest patches from the last couple of days. Would I need another new dll besides the one you included here? I tried with my database & with a new database. I attached my logs.

It looks like it's seeing it.

There is some errors about database locks, and being unable to update the database. A clean reboot doesn't help?

I think the locked database issue was from me starting with an empty database but the TV Listings plug-in, which has a separate database for some things that reference the NPVR database, was looking for missing values.

I tried again. This time I disabled the NetworkRecorder plugin. I see the four Ceton tuners in my devices. I couldn't get scanning to work & typed up a whole paragraph here. Then, I figured I'd try once more. This time I remembered to stop the SageDCT service and start the NPVR service. So far, it has found 753 channels. It has processed over 500 table sections. (I don't know what that means exactly.) The number of channels hadn't changed for a while, so I just hit OK when it got over 700 table sections. I tried to watch a few channels. (I don't get HBO. so I expected not to get that.) Then, I tried to record "That 70's Show". I couldn't record or watch anything. Logs are attached.

Side question - can I use the new ManagedUPnP.dll all the time? Or, do I need to keep switching back & forth like I am now?

Great.

Yep, you did the right. I forgot to mention that it doesn't know categorically that it has reached the end of the scan, so you just need to hit the 'ok' button when it stops increasing.

Bummer. I have seen this new "DRI support" working with the HDHomeRun Prime, and briefly with a Ceton device, but it's only light tested and still a bit flakey. I'll take a look at your logs to see if I can work out what the problem is.

I'm pretty sure you didn't already have one did you? You'd be safe to leave it in place,

I know I did have one. I'm not sure where I got it. When I get home tonight, I'll try to figure out where it came from. This is a new machine with a new install, so it has to be recent.

Should this be moved to a new thread since I seem to have hijacked the OP's thread?
